"Two households, both alike in dignity,
In fair Verona, where we lay our scene,
From ancient grudge break to new mutiny,
Where civil blood makes civil hands unclean.
From forth the fatal loins of these two foes
A pair of star-cross'd lovers take their life;
Whose misadventured piteous overthrows
Do with their death bury their parents' strife..."

The Italian city of Verona is plagued with violence in the streets. The Capulets and the Montagues, two powerful and wealthy houses, have let their rivalry erupt into all-out war. Yet when young Montague heir Romeo sneaks into a Capulet celebration to disrupt it from within, he meets the Capulets' daughter Juliet. The two begin their love affair, doomed from the start, but beautiful enough to transcend fate.

    Hey, I couldn’t see all the words but the play seemed like an ordeal that ends in a split. Thanks for the typist and I’d like to see the screenplay of it.

    its honestly the most boring thing ever, okay romeo, you killed yourself because the thirteen year old you met about three days ago killed herself? alrighty then. i have one line and a great costume, peep my character either written as “servingman” or “servant”. about the time when the nurse, juliet and lady capulet are talking about marriage in act one scene three. my line is “madam, the guests are come, supper served up, you called, my young lady asked for. the nurse cursed in the pantry and everything in extremity! i must hence to wait, i beseech you follow straight!” anyways, don’t buy this unless you’re looking for something to put you right to sleep. god bless, cya.

    The playwrite was ok, but since I had to write a 5 page essay on it I don’t really appreciate it anymore.

    I hope you're reading this Willian Shakespeare! This book sounds like it was written in 1597! Needs some major revising!

    Remember the Romeo and Juliet movie with the little gnomes? I see where THAT came from. Took me probably half my life to figure it out but I'm almost 12 :)
